1. Service Description

Mila is a macOS application and web service providing local audio recording and on-device transcription.

The free plan offers lifetime access using Apple Speech and Apple Intelligence.

The premium plan is a paid monthly subscription enabling advanced local models such as Whisper and Ollama.

1.1 Performance Disclaimer

Transcription speed and AI response generation times vary depending on your device's hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, and Neural Engine capabilities). Processing time also depends on the duration of the audio file being transcribed. Longer recordings will take more time to process.

We do not guarantee specific processing times, as performance is entirely dependent on your local machine's capabilities and workload.

2. Accounts

An account is required to access certain features. You may delete your account at any time.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium access is billed monthly via Stripe.

Subscription renewal is automatic. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current billing period.

By subscribing, you acknowledge and understand that refunds are not permitted and will not be given, as all sales are final.

4. No Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for unused time or partial billing periods.

5. License

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Mila. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the software.

6. User Data

All audio and transcription data is processed locally on your device. We do not store or access this data.

7. Availability

We may modify or discontinue parts of the service at any time. The service is provided as is.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for data loss on your device or indirect damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria.
